Heat Pump Training for Engineers and Energy Auditors
Advanced training on heat pumps, tentatively including the following topics:
- Selecting heat pump types and applications
- Efficiency and performance
- Operation and controls
- Refrigerants
- Special applications, emerging technologies and future trends

This session is targeted toward engineers, energy auditors, and others who select, recommend, operate, or calculate performance for heat pumps in commercial and industrial applications.

The training is free and open to all, but participants are expected to have basic knowledge of heat pumps. If you are not familiar with the technology and general types of heat pumps, first view our introductory training session at http://ceere.org/heatpumptrainingrecordingMarch2022.html

Hosted by Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Partnership, sponsored by Eversource and National Grid, and organized by the Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (http://ceere.org) at UMass Amherst. Presented by Jason Ganley (Area Sales Manager - Commercial, Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC) and Alex Clermont (VRV Engineer, DXS New England - Daikin distributor). The session is expected to last 2.5-3 hours. Continuing education units will be available to participants through UMass Amherst. A recording link will be sent to those who register.
